Read about how we handle cookies and local storage of data on Jobads.no.
What are cookies and local data storage?
When you visit our web pages, different types of data are stored locally on your device through your web browser. Such “locally stored data” can be used to customize the content and features of the services and thus make your visit more organized and more meaningful to you.
The most common type of local data storage is cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, mobile phone or tablet). These files allow us to recognize your browser.
In addition to cookies, we also use other similar techniques such as web beacons / pixel tags. This is technology that recognizes cookies and identifiers, and makes it easier for third parties to place cookies on your device. Web beacons can, among other things, be used to decide which ads to show in your browser.
Both Jobads and third parties can store data locally on your device when using our services (more on this below).
You also have the opportunity to refuse some of the activities below, these choices you make via your settings.
For what does Jobads use local data storage?
Jobads, our suppliers, our subcontractors (for example, analysis tool suppliers) and third parties (eg advertisers and their suppliers) store data locally on your device.
We use locally stored data to:
Deliver and customize our services to the device and browser you use.
Give you good and relevant tips and content.
Make the block better and make sure things work as well as possible.
Customize which advertisements and banners you see.
See how it goes for those who advertise with us.
Find scam ads and block users who don’t behave shyly.
Nordic Partnerships AB is responsible for the personal data processing relating to advertising and the local storage of data that is done in connection with the advertising on Jobads. In Personal Data Policy you can read more about the treatment Jobads is responsible for.
How can you manage or delete cookies and locally stored data?
In the browser settings you will usually find an overview of all cookies that are stored. There, you can also remove unwanted cookies, specify whether you accept the storage of cookies from the web pages you visit, from third parties connected to the web pages and if you want to be notified every time a new cookie is saved. More information about cookies and how you can manage them can be found on the Swedish Post and Telecom Agency’s (“PTS”) website.
